In May
of 2002 Shanelle decided to extend her wings and moved to Bray &
Co. It was hard going in the real estate market during that time
and since she was on a single income, the commission only
arrangement of the real estate business did not meet the monthly
bills. December 2003, in one of the hardest decisions Shanelle had
ever had to make, she chose to put Real Estate on pause so she could
work for a steady paycheck.
Playing
catch-up over the next few years she worked 6-7 days a week for the
City of Glenwood Springs, she waited tables at the New Castle Café
and cleaned various houses and office buildings.
In
August 2005 Shanelle moved to De Beque with her soon to be husband &
new step-daughter. June 2006 she re-activated her Real Estate
License to begin building her own Real Estate business in the Town
she is happy to call home.
Shanelle currently volunteers for the De Beque Wild Horse Council
and for the De
Beque Fire Protection District. Her favorite past-times include
riding/training horses and riding motorcycles. |
