Meet Shanelle

Shanelle is a native to Colorado and was raised in a small town, Cahone, located north of Cortez, Colorado. She graduated from Dove Creek High School and moved on to college in Las Vegas, Nevada. There she studied Business Management. After only one year in college her Mother became ill so she finished that year and then moved home to help take care of her Mother.

In 1998 she moved to Rifle, Colorado and started working at Mason & Morse Real Estate in Glenwood Springs at the front desk. After working there for almost two years she was given the opportunity to work as a Personal Assistant to a top producer and managing broker of the office, Donna Fell. Donna then moved to ReMax where Shanelle followed and then achieved her own Real Estate License at the end of the year 2000. Shanelle continued to work for the Donna Fell Team as a Buyer’s Agent.

In May of 2002 Shanelle decided to extend her wings and moved to Bray & Co. It was hard going in the real estate market during that time and since she was on a single income, the commission only arrangement of the real estate business did not meet the monthly bills. December 2003, in one of the hardest decisions Shanelle had ever had to make, she chose to put Real Estate on pause so she could work for a steady paycheck.

Playing catch-up over the next few years she worked 6-7 days a week for the City of Glenwood Springs, she waited tables at the New Castle Café and cleaned various houses and office buildings.

In August 2005 Shanelle moved to De Beque with her soon to be husband & new step-daughter. June 2006 she re-activated her Real Estate License to begin building her own Real Estate business in the Town she is happy to call home.

Shanelle currently volunteers for the De Beque Wild Horse Council and for the De Beque Fire Protection District. Her favorite past-times include riding/training horses and riding motorcycles.
